Session Title:

Disaster Recovery Solution Architecture for VMware Infrastructure

Presenter:

VMware

Recent disasters, both natural and man-made, together with regulatory compliance, have increased the focus and need for disaster recovery plans within IT organizations. This also comes at a time when there is an increased pressure on IT budgets forcing companies to consider alternatives. Typically, IT organizations either build their own solutions or outsource to consulting companies, both of which are a costly exercise for all involved. VMware is in a unique position to understand customer needs and deliver high-performing, cost-effective solutions for disaster recovery. This talk will provide a deep dive on the relevant parts of VMware products used to build disaster recovery solutions that can meet demanding Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO). The talk will cover technical details, share implementation lessons learned, and include a demo.
