Simply Addressing the Disaster Recovery Needs of Virtual Infrastructures

There are many options for implementing Disaster Recovery with VMware Infrastructure 3 ranging from simple to complex. NetApp's SnapMirror technology provides customers with flexible and low cost options to the problem of replicating Virtual Machines. We will examine some common customer deployments of SnapMirror with VMware Infrastructure 3, including using Synchronous or Asynchronous replication over IP or Fibre Channel connections and the flexibility of mixing Fibre Channel and SATA disks in a replicated environment.
