Session:

A Backup a Day Keeps Disasters Away - How Health First Keeps its Systems Healthy

Presenter:

Health First

This presentation examines the evolution of Health First, a large healthcare organization based in Florida. With both the actual size of the organization and their IT systems continuing to grow, Health First turned to virtualization to both help contain costs and enhance their backup & recovery strategies. With the pressure of regulatory requirements and the ultimate need to ensure that critical patient data remains available 24/7/365, Health First uses Vizioncore's esxRanger Professional to back up its complete farm of 16 virtual servers and 150 applications. This session will explore the reasons why the organization turned to virtualization and the "how-to's" of leveraging virtualization to create a solid backup & recovery strategy. In addition, new features in Vizioncore's products will be covered in detail.
