This presentation will share a real life success story on using VMware virtualization at Adaptis, including what we did right and what we could have done better. We'll share how virtualizing our servers has benefited us in all areas. While some benefits are tangible, more are intangible which many ROI studies don't take into account. This presentation provides solid, convincing ammunition for the ROI of virtualization. We'll discuss how we've reduced implementation costs and how we're able to support new lines of business without increasing IT staff, while at the same time providing much better service to internal and external customers. This session also walks you through how we leveraged ESX Server 2.6 and the EMC CX 600 Clarion's Snapshot capability to provide our Training department instant access to production data for training. We're on a roll for server consolidation and what we're doing to move closer to Real Time Computing.
