This presentation will highlight our efforts in planning and implementing VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) at Nationwide. This will include capacity planning, network design and hardware specifications. We will include tips and tricks as well as lessons learned during our ongoing deployment. We plan to scale our VDI desktop implementation to 10,000 virtual machines throughout the enterprise.
We will also touch on the following topics:
- End-user experience
- Environment support
- End-point devices
