The VMware Infrastructure 3 PowerShell extension simplifies many common administrative tasks saving administrators time and enabling easier integration of VMware Infrastructure with data center management environment, solutions, practices and processes. In this session, we will demonstrate the use of the new PowerShell extension to manage VMware Infrastructure.
We'll cover the comprehensive set of APIs provided in VMware Infrastructure and how to use the VMware Infrastructure PowerShell extension to combine these APIs with PowerShell to create a highly scriptable, easy-to-use command-line and automation interface to VMware Infrastructure. Attendees will gain an understanding of the time savings and possibilities enabled as we apply the PowerShell extension to real-world VMware Infrastructure management scenarios.
