Speaker 1: | Ryan Melton has been in Information Technology for over 12 years. Currently, Ryan is a Systems Architect for the Cerner Corporation based in Kansas City, Missouri. Cerner was awarded VMware's Vanguard Award for Best Overall ROI and Operational Benefits in 2007 thanks to Ryan's efforts and submission. Prior to Cerner, Ryan has held various roles ranging from Systems Administrator to Project Manager for Sprint, Sprint PCS, VoiceStream Wireless, & Honeywell FM&T. The latter of which he was responsible for the architecture and deployment of VMware Workstation, VMware GSX, VMware ESX, and NSA's NETTOP to various departments. |
Speaker 2: | Rolf Diehl has been in Information Technology for over 20 years and holds VCP, ITIL, and MCSE certifications. Presently Rolf is a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for VMware managing technical needs for Strategic Accounts by driving their virtualization success. As an Alumni of VMworld; Rolf participated in VMworld 2007 Virtualization Labs and assisting in VMworld 2007's TAM Day Event. Prior to VMware Rolf served roles in Engineering, Consulting, Training, and Management with Microsoft, the Department of State, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Air Force, and other governmental agencies. Rolf has performed Data Center Modernization efforts for over 3000 customers in more than 27 countries. |
