Session Abstract: | In this session attendees will learn about pros and cons of various data protection methods appropriate for VMware environments. We will discuss pros and cons of streaming backup, storage-device based snapshots and VMFS based snapshots including VCB-enabled backups. We will also share a preview of a new backup and recovery solution currently in development based on the VCB architecture. |

Speaker 2: | Christian Czezatke has been with VMware R&D for over four years, working on backup solutions for ESX. Before joining VMware he has worked for various Bay Area startup companies developing data storage solutions. |
