Session Title: | Enterprise Storage Replication Technologies Applied to VMware |
Session Abstract: | Enterprise technology decision makers sometimes struggle with the complexity associated with successfully selecting and implementing a dynamic data asset protection infrastructure. There is a continuum of technologies one could use to protect data assets, but there's also a catch: not all data is created equal and not every technology delivers the right result to achieve RTO and RPOs. This session will cover the subject of RPO and RTO trade offs, data replication technology, and place the focus on how array-based replication provides a complementary infrastructure in VMWare environments. The powerful combination of array-based replication and Site Recovery Manager will also be presented. A few typical development scenarios and customer examples will be covered throughout the session. |
