Bala Ganeshan is the Chief Technologist for server virtualization in the EMC Symmetrix Partner Engineering organization. Before starting in the current position, Bala worked as a Technical Business Consultant in the
Southeast area focusing on Business Continuity. He has worked at EMC for nine years in various capacities. Bala has over fifteen years of experience working in the IT industry, and has a Ph.D. in Aerospace
Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.

Michael Tan is the Manager of the EMC Santa Clara Innovation Center. Michael has been with EMC for three years and has over 10 years experience in the IT and storage system industry. His expertise
includes server and SAN virtualization, application BC/DR and subsystem software development. Michael has presented EMC solutions to customers
throughout the world and has been a speaker at EMC World.
