Session Abstract: | In the past, many organizations have steered clear of Disaster Recovery planning because of its perceived complexity and cost. In this technical session, participants will learn about tested and proven storage options, including VMware's new Site Recovery manager software to overcome the impact of planned and unplanned system downtime for VMware VI3. Based around VMware Consolidated Backup, a number of customer deployment examples will be presented along with an evaluation of the benefits and limitations of each offering. The presentation will explore best practices along with the configuration and management of Business Continuity solutions for VMware VI3. |
