Session Title:

Strategic Virtualization for a Large European Telecom Provider - A Connected Approach

Session Abstract:

A large European Telecom provider engaged VMware PSO to design and implement the architecture and the operations processes for their virtualization platform based on VMware Infrastructure. Together with the customer, we chose a connected approach to develop technical architecture and operational processes together from scratch. The presentation covers details regarding our engagement for operational readiness from the scratch. It is about the approach, the obstacles and the solutions of a real customer Operational Readiness project delivered Q1 2008. The interaction with Operational Readiness process definitions and design completes this presentation.
