Session Abstract: | The mainstream adoption of server virtualization is well underway, and leading organizations are making plans now for the next stage of their journey toward a more flexible and optimized IT environment. This next phase will be focused on leveraging virtualization to achieve far-reaching improvements in service levels, and doing it for the largest and most mission-critical applications. In this session, John Magee, Vice President, Symantec Product and Services Marketing, will explain strategies and best practices for virtual infrastructure solutions such as data protection, HA/DR, storage management, and application delivery for virtual desktops and other endpoints. He'll explain how Symantec has worked closely with VMware to optimize products such as Veritas NetBackup, Cluster Server, and Storage Foundation to support virtualization in the most mission-critical application environments. |
