Session Abstract: | This session goes through different models of software delivery and deployment : Virtual Appliances and VServices. It does a deep dive into services and tools currently provided by VMware Studio for building and managing production ready Virtual Appliances. It goes through best practices for developing VA friendly applications including recommendations for structuring applications and appliances to make updates and migrations minimally disruptive. Finally, it gives a preview into the future roadmap of the product around delivering highly available, secure and metadata driven VServices that ease deployment and management of complex applications running in a virtual environment. |
