Speaker 1: | Arthur Chiang is a Vice President in IBM's Global Technology Services business. He is responsible for the management of IBM's End User Services product portfolio which includes Virtual Infrastructure Access, an innovative services-lead approach to virtualizing a client's distributed end user desktop environment. Previously, Arthur managed products at Applications on Demand, an IBM business unit that managed and hosted Oracle and SAP applications. Applications on Demand (AoD) was originally a public company called Corio, which was acquired by IBM in March 2005. Arthur was at Corio since it's inception in 1999 and held a number of roles including Business Development, Alliances, Acquisitions, and Investor Relations. He formerly managed Worldwide Professional Services at BEA, Inc., and services business units at Oracle Corporation and other software companies. Arthur was also a Principal at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, advising customers on business strategy and operations. |
