Speaker 1:

Justin Lauer currently serves as the Director of Information Technology for Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics in Memphis, TN, one of the world's premier practicing and teaching orthopaedic centers. In this role, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction for all technology at Campbell Clinic's main campus and satellite locations. Justin also serves as the organization's HIPAA Security Officer.
Under his leadership, Justin's team manages the full suite of IT functions at Campbell Clinic including desktop and application support, server administration, storage systems, network infrastructure, telecommunications, internet and wide area connectivity as well as back-up and disaster recovery.
As part of Justin's strategic plan, Campbell Clinic has employed VMware's virtualization technology to create a flexible, easily administered virtual infrastructure that is poised to save dollars on hardware purchases, power and cooling costs, and administration time. He also recently led the implementation of a new practice management system to replace an aging legacy system.
Prior to joining Campbell Clinic in 2005, Justin held management and consulting positions across a range of sectors, including Warehouse and Distribution, Banking, Legal and Healthcare.
Justin has more than 10 years of experience in Information Technology Management and Consulting, and serves as a member of the Technical Advisory Board for SRSSoft, a software development company specializing in solutions for electronic patient records. He also participates in the VMware SMB Advisory Council. Justin earned his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Speaker 2:

Currently provisional CIO for the Los Angeles Community College District, Jorge Mata has served the Los Angeles community college system for over 19 years. In addition to various IT management roles, Mr. Mata has used his talents to educate others on IT topics such as Microsoft Applications and basic internet skills, to name just a few. Mr. Mata has been an IT visionary by introducing the first Instructional Campus Local Area Network (LAN) and first Administrative LAN at the Los Angeles Valley College, as well as being the champion driving virtualization in his latest role. Now as the CIO of the largest community college district in the world serving over 100,000 students, his vision on new technologies and compassion for students, has led him to a leadership position that will enable the district to reap the benefits of his technical expertise. Mr. Mata holds a Masters of Science in Information Systems from the California State University, Los Angeles.

With over 10 years experience architecting application service models Woollard continues to build on a great wealth of knowledge and experience designing, building and supporting the Proliant server range. From H/W to operating systems he has created, deployed and supported many offerings from Microsoft ensuring reliability and compatibility are key success factors. His current technical product portfolio centres around VMware's offerings extracting the benefits of sustainable solutions through server consolidation, full utilization of hardware and
providing 'services' not 'servers' to the customer.
