Session Title:

Simplifying VMware Infrastructure management with Windows PowerShell

Session Abstract:

You may have already seen how Windows PowerShell makes system
administrators' lives easier than ever with its simple yet powerful
command line. You may have heard how PowerShell support is required
in all Windows Server products starting this year. What you may not
have heard is how VMware is also embracing PowerShell, so all that
power and simplicity can now be used to manage your VMware
infrastructure.
But let's face it, playing with VMs is fun for a while, but when it's time
to get serious, you need to know that email is flowing smoothly through
your Exchange servers and your SQL Servers are completing their
transactions on time.
In this session you'll see how VMware's VI Toolkit (for Windows) will
not only make it easier to configure your VMs and keep them running,
but also how the Toolkit allows you to seamlessly manage your entire
virtual application stack, from the VM host all the way up to the
applications within your virtual machines.
