Session Title:

Printing Considerations in a View Architecture

Session Abstract:

When a Desktop Virtualization project is undertaken, there are several things that are considered. Network bandwidth for the presentation protocol, which thin clients to use, which OS to use, etc. One thing is is often overlooked is the impact that printing has on that architecture.
With VMware's inclusion of ThinPrint technology in View 3.0, the ability to more closely scrutinize and control the print design is here. This session will open the eyes of the attendees to things they haven't often considered, and will allow them to think of the impact of printing and design accordingly.
