Session Abstract:

View Composer is one of the most powerful and useful features of View 3. It facilitates rapid provisioning, elegant desktop updating and patching, and significant savings on SAN disk space. This session will explore the features, peel back the architecture and provide tips, tricks, and strategies for getting the most out of Composer.
We will provide examples of best practices around managing disk space through Refresh, Recompose and Rebalance operations. The session will also look at the operational advantages of using composer in the areas of user profile management, software delivery, and helpdesk best practices. There will also be tips on protecting the Composer database and DR scenarios.
