Session Abstract: | This session will highlight the advances in multi-core processors and hardware assisted virtualization technology that has been a key component in driving the widespread adoption of Virtualization solutions. We will discuss specific examples from customers that have implemented virtualization solutions with AMD Opteron™ processor-based platforms. We will also review the latest in AMD Opteron™ processor offerings, including the AMD?s new six-core AMD Opteron™ processor features, AMD Virtualization (AMD-V)™ technology, and processor-based energy-saving features. We will also take a look at advancements in I/O Virtualization technology that will further enhance the performance and security of your virtualization solution. |
