Session Title: | Assuring Service Levels for P2V migrations with AppSpeed |
Session Abstract: | Maintaining service levels such as end user response times is the key requirement when virtualizing for tier-1 applications. Application owners and VI admins often blame each other when these service levels are not met. This session will discuss how AppSpeed can be utilized to monitor both pre- and post- virtualization deployments to assure that service levels are maintained. We will walk through the entire "assured migration" process starting from the virtualization assessment exercise using Capacity Planner to ongoing application performance monitoring using AppSpeed after virtualization. We will also present a customer case study discussing a successful "assured migration" using AppSpeed. |
