Session Title:

Managing Application Performance with vCenter AppSpeed

Session Abstract:

One of the top inhibitors to Virtualizing business critical apps is the concern over performance expressed by applications owners. Even once the application is virtualized, VI admins can find themselves constantly accused of causing every performance challenge encountered by the application. This session will demonstrate how the vCenter AppSpeed product can be used to perform an "assured migration" where one measures the performance of an application both pre-virtualization and once it has been virtualized. We will also review how the technology can be used to continually monitor an application's SLA achievement, as well as troubleshoot a specific problem..
