Secure Enterprise-Class Cloud Computing

Session Abstract:

Key Security concerns in a public cloud environment include the usual suspects: confidentiality and/or privacy, availability, and integrity as well as emerging considerations over losing direct control of the environment. In this session, Verizon, a leading service provider will discuss what you should look for in your service provider to help address these concerns. Verizon will share how their Computing as a Service (CaaS) offering has been architected to help address security and compliance challenges through well-designed networks, public and private options and through the implementation of rigorous security controls throughout the physical, logical and operational layers. Verizon will also demo the new CaaS enabled by VMware vCloud Datacenter solution, which can underpin a hybrid cloud solution and carry the important security principles forward.
