Session Title: | How Cisco, EMC and VMware Are Changing the IT Landscape with Vblock Converged Infrastructure |
Session Abstract: | The Virtual Computing Environment coalition (VCE) was formed to drive simplified IT infrastructure delivery through best-of-breed, highly integrated IT offerings called Vblock™ Infrastructure Packages. Todd and Chad will provide prescriptive "how to" guidance to tackle virtualization initiatives, including migrating physical environments to virtual environments, transitioning staff and processes to an integrated IT organization, running IT infrastructure as a service, offering desktop services on virtual infrastructure, and maximizing cost reductions in a virtualized environment. This session will highlight repeatable VCE solutions that are constructed on Vblock infrastructure. A VCE roadmap of future offerings will be presented as well as demos on a massively parallel processing (MPP) Greenplum analytical database and upcoming Unified Infrastructure Manager (UIM) capabilities. See why customers around the world are choosing to make Vblock their platform of choice. |
