VMworld 2007 Sessions and Labs

Hi,

The majority of Breakout Sessions and all Labs from VMworld 2007 are now posted at http://www.vmworld.com/vmworld/sessions.jspa.

PDF and MP3 downloads are being added under "Related Resources" within each of the session screens and should be available soon.

As a reminder, only "Public Sessions" listings are available to all visitors.  The majority of Sessions and all Labs are reserved for VMworld 2007 attendees.  However, all registered members will be notified as additional sessions are made public.

Enjoy!

Will the sessions currently locked for use by conference attendees be unlocked in future? Being from Australia getting across to the US for VMWorld is not possible, so it is a shame those of us not able to make the trip cannot share the wealth of information that is available.

Re: VMworld 2007 Sessions and Labs

I have the same question.  Also, if I register for / attend VMworld 2008 will the previous attendee sessions become available to me?  That would be great.  The option to purchase the content would be nice as well.  I mean I don't WANT to pay for it but it seems a little strange to have information that isn't available through one route or another.

Re: VMworld 2007 Sessions and Labs

Hi,

We are releasing about 20 sessions from 2007 per month, with all the session free as of the Vegas2008 show.

Then we will do the same for Vegas 2008, access to all paid conference attendees, as well as some number of free session throughout the year.   We hope to also have a virtual conference pass which can be purchased for full online access, we are working out the logistics for online order taking now.

Eric

Perfect moving forward.  Is there anything we can do to get access to historical Labs?

I will look into that.. you mean the 2006/2005/2004 labs?   I'm not sure anyone captured them.    We will be capturing labs as we move forward, now that we have vmworld.com,  but I'm not certain anyone capture the older labs.

Re: VMworld 2007 Sessions and Labs

I am primarily referring to the 2007 labs it would be great if they were opened up before WMworld 2008 like the sessions are.  I'm planning on attending 2008 so it wont be an issue for me this year.
